The Dallas Founder Lions Club is proud to be building a bold new chapter of service and community impact in the heart of Downtown Dallas!

With a growing and diverse membership of close to 80 individuals, ourclub is carrying forward a rich legacy that dates back to 1916 — while bringing fresh energy, new partnerships, and expanded service opportunities to meet today's needs.

Over the past year, our members have deepened their commitment to projects that support both local Dallas communities and global goals, including hunger relief, environmental stewardship, health and wellness, and youth leadership development. Our work is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strengthening the connection between global service and local action.

Recent highlights include:

  • Providing free vision screenings and mobile eye care clinic services at several schools and facilities serving unhoused communities across Dallas.
  • Supporting environmental cleanup efforts at Dallas area parks to promote sustainability and civic pride.
  • Partnering with local initiatives like Sleep in Heavenly Peace to provide beds for children in need.

Our club meets just blocks from the site of the first Lions Clubs International Convention held in 1917, and we are proud to continue serving Dallas with the same spirit of innovation, resilience, and compassion that has defined Lions for more than a century.

Together, we are honoring our history — and creating a future full of service and impact. Want to learn more about our journey?
